Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
Many people say that Elton John's writer Bernie Taupin wrote this about himself. Taupin was a country boy who probably didn't like getting caught up in Elton's high class city lifestyle. I like to think about it as a song about getting back to basics.
Dorothy followed the yellow brick road and found that what she was searching for was right in front of her the entire time. All she had to do was click her heels and say, "There's no place like home. There's no place like home."

I liked this song; I still find myself singing along with it when I hear it on the radio. Worse yet, I just realized how old this song is and I was a teen when it came out. Oh geesh......I'm old :)
I'm not sure if I ever took the time to figure out what the song might be about, but it was a good one to listen to :)
