I've liked this song from the first time I heard it.
Kinda disco. Kinda funky. Kinda sad.
You know... all these years I've always wondered who "Gloria" was....
Released by Laura Branigan in 1982, it was originally an Italian love song.
The tone was changed to depict a girl "living life in the fast lane."
It made me think of several friends I knew in college who couldn't be without a man in their lives.
Regardless, great song, and even better when sung by Debbie Reynolds.
